Pre and Post - Op Bariatric Surgery Behavior Modification Group
These groups are designed to assist patients Before and After their weight loss surgery. These groups are offered virtually and are $50-$75 per/ session. Please contact our office to register.
pRE-OP bEHAVIORAL MODiFICATION therapy GROUP
The Pre-Op group is a requirement for most insurance companies for approval of Bariatric Surgery, and consists of four modules that are designed to help candidates become emotionally and psychologically prepared for surgery. In the group, we aid clients in learning to identify their triggers that lead to unhealthy eating, help them understand their relationship with food, and how to make small changes and stay motivated before and after surgery.
Offered Virtually Every Saturday @ 10am
Module 1 - Eating Triggers - This module is designed to help you identify visual and situational cues to eating; learn strategies to help you control your eating triggers.
Module 2 - Emotional Eating - This module is designed to help you recognize, understand, and identify the difference between emotional and physical hunger.
Module 3 - Managing Stress - This module is designed to help you identify causes of stress and your bodies personal responses to stress; Also, you will learn different stress management techniques.
Module 4 - Staying Motivated - This module is designed to help you learn thoughts and actions to help maintain motivation to create a lifestyle change.
POST-OP BEHAVIOR MODiFICATION therapy GROUP
Our Post-Op support group is designed to assist you in achieving success with this new lifestyle change.
